薬物乱用の防止について

平成22年10月22日、四国内の大学に在籍する外国人留学生が、大学敷地内で大麻草を栽培したとして、大麻取締法違反の疑いで逮捕されました。

大麻等の薬物は、その乱用により使用者の心身を破滅させる反社会的なものであり、その所持、栽培、譲渡は法律によって厳しく禁止されています。また、違反者には厳罰が処せられることとなります。

今年7月に薬物乱用の防止について注意喚起を行ったところですが、学生の皆さんは、大麻や禁止薬物等に関わりを持つことがないよう、改めて注意を喚起します。

Regarding Prevention against Illegal Drug Abuse

On October 22^nd, international students of a certain university in Shikoku were arrested for cultivating hemp on the university premises. (Hemp is the raw material used to produce cannabis, an illegal drug.)

Abusive use of illegal drugs such as cannabis incurs serious problems to your health. Possession, cultivation, or distribution of any illegal drug is strictly prohibited by law. Severe punishment shall be imposed on you if you go against such laws.

A warning has been issued in July on the dangers of illegal drug abuse. We would like to strongly remind all students to stay away from anything that concerns illegal drugs.
