日本事情を初めて学ぶ留学生を対象とした授業のフィールド学習に、カラヌスが貢献しました。留学生はカラヌスに乗船し、小豆島への道中、瀬戸内海の景観を満喫しました。道中、船上で初めて海水を浴びて塩辛いことを体験した留学生もいました。小豆島ではマルキン醤油記念館を見学し、日本の食文化には欠かせない醤油の製法を体験的に学びました。
“Current Japanese Affairs” fieldwork class on the Seto Inland Sea!(Oct.6,2023)
Calanus III contributed to the field study of a class for international students who have just started learning about Japan. On their way to Shodoshima Island, they learned distinctive features of the Seto Inland Sea through cruising. One student experienced travel on the sea for the first time, and found it salty when he was splashed by seawater. On Shodoshima, they visited Marukin Soy Sauce Museum to learn about the local industries there.
