The Center for Educational Development and Support is an institute administered by the Faculty of Education. Its purpose is to assist the faculty in carrying out education in the field, to provide support for pre-service and in-service teachers, and to develop teaching and learning skill in cooperation with the faculty’s six attached schools and the Kagawa prefectural Board of Education.
The center is composed of three divisions. The first carries out education in the field for first-year to fourth-year students focusing on their teaching practice. The second division supports prospective school teachers in preparing for the national teacher employment examinations as well as providing current school teachers with on-going professional guidance and consultation. The third division develops teaching and learning skills in liaison with the faculty’s six attached schools and educational organizations in Kagawa prefecture.
