Kagawa Prefecture is full of a wide range of attractions that can accommodate any visitor’s interests. For those that love the outdoors, the prefecture is full of natural and man-made beauty; surrounded by mountains on one side and Japan’s inland sea on the other; and is home to Ritsurin Garden, one of Japan’s most famous historical gardens. The prefecture is also home to Mount Yashima, which was a historical battle site from the Genpei War and stronghold of the Taira clan.
