Nano-blade Array for Spatial Dissection of Single Cells and Tissues

We study spatial distribution of biomolecules in a tissue and a cell to understand biological processes such as organ development and formation of cell polarity. Si nano-blade array MEMS device can sample single cells and intracellular biomolecules with keeping spatial information in tissues or in single cells. Using the device, we demonstrated successful dissection of single cells into subcellular fractions.
