留学生の皆さんへ

　今年度も忘れずに国民健康保険に加入してください！
　日本では留学生の国民健康保険への加入が義務付けられています。

　国民健康保険の加入は、高松市役所（１階の保険年金課６番窓口）で申請の手続きができます。また、工学部の近くの林支所でも手続きができます（林支所の場所を知らない人は西岡まで問い合わせてください）。外国人登録証明書とパスポートを持って申請してください。

　加入していると、病院での診察の７０％を国が負担してくれます。また、病院で負担した残りの３０％のうち３５％を（財）日本学生支援機構が補助してくれますので、実質の負担は２０％となります。病院での領収書は無くさずに、西岡のところまで持って来て、補助申請をしてください。

　国民健康保険料は、一般的に留学生は年間、１万数千円程度ですが、所得等で変動があります。アルバイトをたくさんして収入が多い場合は保険料が高くなります。

　もし、国民健康保険を滞納したり払っていない場合は、病院にかかるときに、拒否されたり、過去に遡ってすべて支払うことになり、その場合、免除申請や補助申請は一切受けられないので、結果的に大きな損をすることになります。

　国民健康保険料のうち、年間９千円が助成金として、（財）高松市国際交流協会から補助されます。

　対象者は以下のすべてにあてはまる留学生です：
　　高松市在住の私費留学生
　　年間の奨学金が６０万円未満
　　高松市国民健康保険に加入している者

　工学部で取り纏めますので★５月２３日（金）★までに、申請書と国民健康保険証をもって西岡まで提出してください。

　なお、入学してすぐお渡ししている「健康のしおり」をもっていない人は下記のホームページを参照してください。

Dear International Students,

Make sure to get your national health insurance this year, too!
In Japan, international students are obliged to have the national health insurance.

You can apply for the insurance at Takamatsu City Hall (6th counter on the 1st floor).
Or you can apply at the Hayashi-shisyo, Hayashi Branch Office, which is close to the Engineering campus.
(Ask me if you don't know where.)
Bring your alien registration card and passport to apply for the insurance.

With this insurance, the Japanese Government will bear 70% of your payments at the hospitals. You'll only pay 30% and JASSO will subsidize 35% of the amount you paid.
Your actual burden will be 20%. Keep your receipts and bring it to me to apply for the subsidy.

The national health insurance usually cost about 13000 yen annually but it depends on your income. The more money you earn working part time, the more cost you pay for the insurance.

If you delayed to pay or didn't pay the insurance, you may not be treated properly at the hospital. Or you may end up paying all the insurance, which you had to pay in the past.
In that case, you won't be able to get the subsidy, which you could get if you paid on time.

Takamatsu International Association will subsidize 9,000yen.

You have to be:
　Privately funded international students living in Takamatsu City
　Getting less than 600,000yen annually as a scholarship
　Having the national health insurance in Takamatsu City

Fill out the application form and submit it to me along with your national health insurance by May 23, Friday.
